| Yugoslavia, April 1941. The German Wehrmacht had captured and occupied large parts of Yugoslavia, but Yugoslav partisans were still fighting against the German occupiers. One unit in particular distinguished itself: the approximately 50 young Serbian women, led by 23-year-old Marija Begić, repeatedly and successfully attacked Wehrmacht supply lines. Last month alone, 147 Wehrmacht soldiers were killed by Marija's unit. But everything eventually came to an end: when German soldiers ambushed Marija's unit, almost all of the women perished; only four survived... And today, death awaits them... by hanging!
